Water damage to your carpet

When a water loss happens in a home, especially near the bedrooms, typically carpet is affected. This house was flooded due to the bathroom adjacent to this bedroom closet had a tub overflow. The homeowner walked into the bedroom and the carpet was saturated. The shoe was almost completely full of the water seeping out of the carpet.

We arrived on scene to begin the mitigation work that was needed. As you can see in the before picture, the carpet looks very dark. It only appears that way due to the amount of water that had soaked in. The after pictures shows a beautiful closet with clean carpet.
