Annual Air Duct and Vent Cleanings

SERVPRO of Statesboro was called to a home to do the annual air duct and vent cleanings.

Our technician placed foam in every register. The HEPA vacuum was then placed inside the vent to pull suction and the airline was installed to blow the debris back towards the vacuum.

Refrigerator Leak

The refrigerator began to leak very slowly causing damage to the flooring under the refrigerator.

SERVPRO came in to restore the beautiful flooring to pre loss condition.

The homeowner was excited about how the flooring turned out.

Storm damage occurred at this home when a powerful band of thunderstorms with high wind gusts tore through the neighborhood.

The porch on this home probably had some structural deficiencies prior to the storm, and the storm damage made the porch unsafe.

We tore out the damaged building materials and provided reinforcement to the structural elements of the porch. Then we provided a total rebuild to the porch as seen in the photo.

Farewell Nikki

When a thunderstorm came through our area a few weeks ago, a house had a severe leak from their roof in the upstairs area. We arrived on scene and were able to pull back the carpet to properly dry the area. 

Contents after Fire

We were called to a commercial property where a fire had occurred. We removed any item that had soot or smoke damage to take to our warehouse so we could properly clean the items while the structure side was also being completed. 

Storm causes fire

A thunderstorm was above a home in Metter. Lightening struck the home which caused a fire to spread throughout the house. The homeowners were away at the time of the storm. Luckily, they had replaced the batteries in their smoke alarm not long before so the fire department was alerted to the fire.

When a fire happens in a home, you know there will be smoke damage. However, it may come as a shock as to how extensive the smoke damage is. This room was on the opposite side of the home from the fire. As you can see, it is covered in smoke and soot.

Fire Damage in Statesboro

Fires can go from manageable to unmanageable within seconds. This fire began from a small spark when an electrical receptacle malfunctioned. The homeowner smelt smoke and saw the fire. He ran to get an extinguisher but upon his returned, the flames were bigger than before. He left the home and called for the fire department. They arrived and were able to extinguish the fire before it became a total loss. 

Storm affects Ceiling

This was the aftermath of a kitchen fire in Aspen Heights Apartment Complex in Statesboro, Ga. There was a significant amount of smoke and soot damage.
